Jewish Learning at BJC 5782 (2021-2022)
What if Jewish learning started as- and remained-an exciting, satisfying part of your life's journey from early childhood through old age?
What if your participation in a vibrant, warm, caring Jewish community both deepened your roots in Jewish tradition and helped you engage meaningfully in the wider world?
Bethesda Jewish Congregation is not your typical synagogue. It's more than a synagogue, it's a community. Where we meet, who our members are, what we learn, and how we celebrate, all add up to a Jewish communal experience that will enrich your life in ways you have never experienced before. Where else could you experience a pandemic Shofar service outside the building with the rabbi blasting the notes and a parking lot full of cars responding in kind? Where else could a building house a church, a synagogue, and a mosque, coming together for a Thanksgiving service as well as mutual learning opportunities?
We are unique!
For Our Youngest Members
Jewish learning takes place both inside the classroom and through participation in a series of culminating special special events. Each month, the emphasis is on a primary Jewish value and other related values.
