Mahjongg at BJC

Mahjongg is back for our monthly session! Come play with BJC and friends, have a nosh, and win some fabulous prizes. Beginners and players of all experience welcome. Please register in advance. We're just playing for fun and bragging rights so join in!

Picnic at Bethesda Big Train

Take Me Out to the Ball Game! Spend June 22nd with BJC at Bethesda Big Train for Jewish Heritage Night! Choose your meal for a 5:30 dinner and then watch Big Train take on the Cropdusters at 7 PM! $15 per adult attendee (includes drink) and $13 for kids (includes drink). Dinner options are priced separately. Registration closes June 12 at 12 PM.

Join us for a fabulous Pride weekend at BJC! 🌈 Rainbow Shabbat – June 27–28! 🌈 Saturday: Shabbat service led by Cantorial Soloist Raymond Zachary followed by a Lunch & Learn. 🌈✨ Queer Torah: Sacred Stories, Inclusive Texts ✨🌈 Join us for a powerful Torah study workshop exploring queer themes in Jewish tradition — from David and Jonathan’s covenantal love to the rabbinic recognition of gender diversity. Together, we’ll uncover how ancient texts speak to modern identities and imagine a Judaism where every person and story belongs. $18 per person for the Lunch & Learn.
