7:30 PM - 9:00 PMOnline OnlyPlease join us for a presentation by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum featuring Holocaust survivor Esther Starobin. This conversation will be online only, beginning promptly at 7:30 PM. Please register for the Zoom link.
This program will last one hour and will feature an interview between a Museum staff member and the survivor followed by time for questions from the audience.
You can view Esther's bio here.
We kindly request that participants turn on their camera, as able, during the program for the comfort of the speaker. As you can imagine, it is difficult to speak to a black screen.
Q&A: If participants have questions for the speaker, they are encouraged to submit them via the “Chat” feature in Zoom at any point during the program. All chats will go directly to the host. We will get to as many questions as possible during our time together.
We recommend reading the following encyclopedia articles on the Museum's website for historical context prior to Esther's presentation.
Antisemitic Legislation
Kindertransport
Gurs
The Path to Nazi Genocide (film)
This presentation will be recorded.
