9:00 AM - 11:30 AMBJC Adult Congregants are invited to our Community Awareness Personal Safety Training.with Shay HaLevi, Deputy Director, Community Security JShield, Jewish Federation of Greater Washington
Situational Awareness Training: Learn to recognize suspicious behavior and respond appropriately in a variety of environments. This session empowers individuals to help build a culture of safety and awareness across our community.
Active Threat Response: Understand how to respond during an active threat or violent incident. This training outlines critical strategies for protecting yourself and others.
WHAT we will learn: We will walk away with a renewed safety perspective and pragmatic strategies to apply immediately in any community indoor or outdoor setting - including BJC!
WHY is BJC hosting this training? Because safety shouldn’t be optional AND when ALL members of our BJC community learn & use critical safety smarts, WE are safer wherever we go!
