Due to the war in Gaza, NSL will not hold its traditional summer program in Covenant Hall of presentations by young leaders from Israel and Palestine. Instead, NSL alumni will share the “Phoenix Plan” that was developed during a retreat last February. This plan is their version of a Marshall Plan and is an actionable post war plan that addresses five identified deadlock issues including: Palestinian and Israeli Leadership, Gaza Reconstruction, Systemic Accountability/Restorative Justice, the Role of the International Community, Preparing the Public for Peace, and finally, Visions for the Future.
